The VK-50SE uses additional reserves of power supply capacitors to double the energy storage of the standard VK-50. This technique is also used by Balanced Audio Technology in the stellar VK-500 power amplifier with its optional BAT-PAK^® joule multiplier. The result in both cases is greater dynamic authority and ease in the reproduction of complex musical passages.
