The VK-50SE power supply begins with toroidal power transformers for each channel—custom designed to handle the larger power demand of the 6H30 SuperTube. This dual–mono construction minimizes interactions between channels from the start. The toroidal shape reduces stray magnetic fields and lowers distor tion. Transformers are located as far from the signal path as possible and their weight is placed at reinforced chassis corners to minimize undesirable resonance.
