Balanced Audio Technology has found Vishay Bulk Metal^® foil resistors to be without peer when used in critical circuit locations. For example, the VK-40, VK-50, and VK-50SE use Vishay Bulk Metal^® foil resistors in the critical signal path of the electronic shunt volume control. The VK-50SE also incorporates Vishay resistors in the plate-loading circuit of the 6H30 SuperTubes. The net result is higher resolution and a lower noise floor that is apparent upon first listening.
